Iggy Azalea Designing ‘New Classic’ Clothing Line

Iggy Azalea has taken to Twitter to reveal that she's been working on her own clothing line. Titled 'New Classic' – the same name as Iggy's debut album – the rapper told fans that she'll be unveiling the first piece next week, "right in time for the LA show." Needless to say District MTV are counting down to 19 December, when said "LA show" will take place at The Fonda Theatre on Hollywood Boulevard. Somebody charter us a flight, quick; we want to see these fashions in the flesh!

So what else do we know about Iggy's venture into the design world? Well, she's been working with her long-time stylist Alejandra Hernandez on the project, who also co-owns independent LA boutique Virgo. Alejandra has styled Iggy for music videos including 'Bounce' and 'My World', plus shoots for V and Complex magazines, so we're pretty sure we can expect some bold looks to come out of their latest joint venture. Here's hoping Iggy gives us a sneak peek ahead of next week's show… we can only take one countdown at a time and Santa's not going to be happy if we give Azalea priority.
