President Jonathan To Buy New Executive Jet again

The Southeast zone of the All Progressives Congress, APC has lauded the people of the Southeast for coming first among other geopolitical zones in their contributions to the Muhammadu Buhari campaign fund.
A statement by the spokesperson of the party in the region, Osita Okechukwu described the outing of the zone as an indication of the readiness of Ndigbo to take a front position in the quest to elect Buhari as president in February.
He said:
“We are happy to announce that when the managers of the First Bank of Nigeria warehoused fund unveiled  N54 million so far realized, Ndigbo topped the list of the highest donors; a unique account that has GMB as the only signatory.”
“By topping the donor list, Ndigbo has graciously demonstrated that the celestial bond between GMB and the Nigerian masses and the middle class is Pan-Nigeria and not sectional as insinuated.”
“The Buhari Campaign Support Fund has GMB as the sole signatory for transparency purposes and meant to assist GMB who refused to enrich himself while in office to prosecute his presidential campaign.”
“The South East APC salutes our people who embrace the Buhari-Bandwagon-Vehicle for Salvation; for it is our candid opinion that it is less than wise for the hard working and enterprising Ndigbo to election after election put all our eggs in one basket.”

President Goodluck Jonathan wants to ride yet another new aircraft, and he has asked the National Assembly to approve the purchase.  The request is part of the 2015 budget presented to the National Assembly in Abuja last week by the Minister of Finance, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala. It will be the fourth such purchase since he took office in 2010.

RIVERS State governor, Mr Rotimi Chibuke Amaechi, said on Tuesday, in Lagos, that it amounts to speculations that Northern youths will unleash terror if All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, General Mohammadu Buhari, does not win the 2015 presidential election, declaring that Buhari would defeat President Goodluck Jonathan in the coming poll.

ISIS in Nigeria to Recruit Fighters - FG

The Federal Government has raised alarm over the presence of some agents of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, ISIS, in Nigeria to recruit more fighters into their fold. The National Coordinator, National Information Centre and Director-General of the National Orientation Agency (NOA), Mike Omeri made this known in a statement signed by his Special Adviser, David Akoji yesterday Dec. 23.

Omeri said that intelligence information gathered by Security officials show that three South African nationals disguising as humanitarian workers are currently in the country to facilitate the recruitment of some Nigerians into the islamic terror group. He appealed to Nigerians to be vigilant and report humanitarian workers with suspicious motives

I think this stomach infrastructure issue is attaining a ridiculous height but sadly, there is too much hunger in the land and nobody is ready to say the truth. Why on earth will a governor line up police officers for such a ridiculous parade? Why not even give it to their boss to share for his men? In fact, it is an offence, from what I know in Police Act, for a policeman to collect gifts from a civilian openly.
